He is the poster child for NYC angst. Plus, when he makes a movie and features a city, you fall in love with the city, wanting to visit it.

He may be limited in range to a certain era, but I don't find him as limited as the Fonz. I couldn't watch the Fonz if you paid me now, but enjoyed it when it was in vogue.

It is cool that kimchicoug, the apparent voice of his generation, deigns to post on CUF when he could be out writing books or hitting the lecture circuit at major universities.

See it with your wife or girlfriend. I'm not declaring it the best movie of all time, but it is very watchable in an era of forgettable films being de rigeur.

Since I can't decide, I'll go ahead and see it with both of them - but not at the same time. That would be bad.

I go where I am needed. This thread definitely need a dash of my generational expertise.

A classic toast, "To our wives and lovers, may they never meet!"

Of course in my case that person is destined to be the same, having no wife currently. Just needed to get that disclaimer out there.

What subset of the generation do you represent? Are you certified?

I represent a 25-35 year old male, Mormon, living in the west, with a graduate degree, and married w/kids. I've been told several times that I'm certifiable, but I didn't like the rest of the sentence.

Sexy beast should be somewhere in there as well, but it wasn't listed in the options.
