    Does he have a mustache?

So extramarital sex among MoTab members is aOK? All due respect, yuck.

I think some of the women in the choir are fairly attractive

        • I learned in church today

Apparently in Stake Conference a couple weeks ago, our SP challenged everyone to read every single Oct '15 GC talk before April '16 GC. A fairly reasonable challenge, I suppose. Oh wait, I forgot to mention he wants us to read them all six times. !!!???

Anyway, today I learned that my bishop is expecting all ward council members to follow through with this challenge. I suspect none will, but I know for certain one who won't!

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I would love to know why he settled on six. It must have occurred to him that one was insufficient. Same with two, three, four, and five. But six? "Well, ideally, I would have preferred either forty or at least twelve, both good scriptural numbers," he must have thought. "But the spirit whispered 'six' to me, so six it shall be."

              • We try to do things a little better out here, so I asked my SP if we should read all the talks seven times, and he responded, "I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven."

Put it on your playlist, then you can sleep on it.

I was hoping for something a little more mystical, but you're probably right.

That sounds like just the sort of thing Satan would say.

Really? I was just thinking that Satan would be the one to make me read conference talks 6 or 7 times.

                              • From Stake Conference Saturday Evening, one women wrote to sp and did dance tell it was immodest. Went to soccer. Had conflict with primary activity, so went to primary activity. Had game scheduled during GC Mom figured will record conference and went to game. Did and felt bad. BYU used to regularly play during GC, do it after GC or Friday of. Minor sports play routinely during GC. BYU and Ricks rec routinly open GC, Church Businesses, DI always open Saturday GC.

Some Ga,s pre call would talk about hunting while listening to GC on radio. I personally see nothing wrong with missing Saturday Conference for other activities. Easy to watch and read talks later. Other things work on one thing to be better at.

Temple attendance, Sabbath Observance, Bom talked about. One counselor liked to relax with football. Sp got after him for that. Who only uses phone to talk to family, and turns on computer and tv for church related use. We're challenged to dress better when not doing chores, and even chores better clothes.

People me included still justify what we do on Sunday.

Another one with soccer conference schedule, our Hs dropped football do to lack of enrollment not uncommon in rural Idaho. Added soccer though not sanctioned so many Jr. High and grade school kids played on High School teams. Some people went to neighboring school so they could play football.

In 1980,s state said if both school boards approved you could go to neighboring school if sport not offered in home school. And by three to two margin board approved it. Members that voted no what were they thinking. Many parents would only let kids play if offered in home district no co op. Now for many sports people coop right and left. In fact Greenleaf and Rimrock 90 miles apart did it this year.

Well enrollment increased and guy said no sense for son to play next door when we can have team here. School board including some that voted no for co op unanimously voted to bring sport back. No danger of our team losing program any time soon now. Came back my Fresman year.

Well I got picked to go to order of arrow that year. Mother picked me for fall cause people I knew would be there. Never mind you can,t talk to them whole time. Things more important than football. Didn,t she realize when you sign up for team in Hs contract to go to all games and practices make commitment to team.

Well thanks to appendectomy Monday before that conflict made it to neither. Half the people from troop go. I don,t think anyone selected that year wound up going.
