Which of these Mormon tenets are most difficult for you to obey?

There were more I wanted to list (is that an LDS church problem or a vBulletin one? I kid, I kid). These would have been some of the others:

• Weekly church attendance
• Monthly fast offerings
• Family scripture study
• Family prayer daily
• Word of wisdom -- eating meat sparingly
• No pornography
• No masturbation
• All of the above

And before anyone gives me a hard time for making these types of posts as often as I do in The Foyer, understand that I fully support my wife and our kids in their church observance and often attend with them with a smile on my face and spent the first 90% of my life in strict obedience. CUF is very therapeutic for me, and I love you guys/gals; I'd hang out with any of you any day of the week.

There are several items there that I don't even remotely try to obey, so I can't vote for those. I give no thought whatsoever to whether a movie is rated R, so I wouldn't include that one, even though it would be a difficult rule to keep.

Going to church weekly is probably the most difficult of the items that I actually obey. I don't mind sitting with my family in Sacrament Meeting, but the next two hours seem pretty pointless usually. During NFL season I really don't like sitting in church for 3 hours -- I would definitely go for the Saturday night church session that some other churches offer if that were available.

Fasting once a month seems like it should be the easiest one on the list, but that is what I selected. And it is, by far, the most difficult for me.

These requirements, most of which don't do much to relieve suffering in the world, are much about control. Think about how wearing garments and avoiding drink marks you as a pod person in the everyday secular world.
