Thanks but not just mpfunk! I encourage all on this board to devote yourselves to a serious lifetime practice of prayer. As you bear your soul to your Heavenly Father you'll find yourself becoming more like Him and less like a bozo.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostLove hearing YO encourage mpfunk to get on his knees in prayer!

It is nice to get a pass from someone that is respected. I noticed one of my good friends and a former Biship, SP and MP was playing golf without his upper garments on.Originally posted by Moliere View PostYep, on top of that I've been to my bishops house when he is out mowing the yard with his shirt and garment top off...
Not being judgemental but curious, I asked if he had left the church. He said no, his swing was affected adversely by the tops. From then on I noticed they bothered my swing too.

I still don't get why people complain about the fit of garments. If they don't fit right, buy some nice white underclothing and put your own marks on them. I don't do this because the fit is fine for me, especially with the new/improved short version of the bottoms.
I know the handbook says that garments should not be made, but that's just a lame policy and I doubt any leader would ever care or even know unless the member told them.

But the priesthood power cheat sheet in my wallet doesn't include a dedicatory prayer for Hanes.Originally posted by Moliere View PostI know the handbook says that garments should not be made, but that's just a lame policy and I doubt any leader would ever care or even know unless the member told them.I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

My wife is under the impression that there is some special disposal ritual for G's. That you have to cut out the marks and burn them or something before you toss the remainder. She is fuzzy on the details of what has to be done and why, but she cringes when I just chuck old G's in the bin. I think she is worried for my Eternal Salvation.

You are supposed to cut out the marks but I think after that t doesn't matter. I cut out the marks and then use the material to shine my shoes.Originally posted by wally View PostMy wife is under the impression that there is some special disposal ritual for G's. The short bottoms are probably an inch or two shorter than normal. They are good for when wearing shorts as I don't have to constantly make sure they aren't showing out of the bottom of my shorts.Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostI haven't had to buy for awhile, tell me more about short bottoms.

There's no dedicating prayer
. Just see in marks or iron them on. If you want to go retro, then cut in the marks and then sew 'em back up.
