I did the survey for my wife and requested something in more of a french cut.

            • I've been hoping for wife-beater tops and underarmor style tops for a while now. I think the Church's obsession with underwear is funny. I also agree with the above poster that women's garments were designed by a man who hated women.

To outsiders, the Church's "obsession with underwear" doesn't seem funny. It seems cult like.

To outsiders, the Church's obsession with lots of things seem cult-like. That's because they're outsiders. Duh!

They also had some in the late 90s.

                          • Mormon Stories #151 Episode 3 (at around 52:00) seems to imply that some (or many?) garments may be made in south american sweatshops. In short, Dayon Smith who worked for the church told how Beehive Clothing was making garments in SLC during the 80's. Beehive Clothing was having a hard time keeping workers because they were paying below the poverty level. Also, because of the high tariff for import items into Venezuela the church was essentially smuggling garments into the country in people's suitcases (garment "mules"?). To solve both problems Beehive Clothing got permission from the church to start contracting with clothing factories in Venezuela to make garments.

I need to make a trip to Venezuela to get some garments. I bet they are cheap there.

                            • I picked up some G's last week and I noticed that on the tops I generally buy they tag said sleeve change. So I asked the lady what that meant and she said it was a shorter sleeve now. They are shorter, but not that much shorter. However, I always get the short bottoms and whoa these things are finally short! Like a full 4" above my knee short. I wish I bought more.
