And I can wear a light tee shirt with em and not have that double-thickness that comes with the cotton alternative.

I honestly don't know. I actually ask for the "Under Armour" ones and they always know what I am talking about.

Seriously I don't mind wearing garments, I actually enjoy it. The underarmour style is what I would wear anyways, and I have always been an undershirt guy.

I know what you mean with the mesh tops. They could tuck away some dirt you couldn't get to and cause BO. It's never been a problem with the swoop neck silkies.
