My great something grandma is sealed to Joseph Smith instead of to my great something grandpa. Does that count grape?

Yes, I know Jill and Paul. I also know their older brother Lawrence. And yes, Jill is married to Brian Taylor.

Jill and Brian lived in my in-law's basement when they were first married. Brian's dad was the Branch President of a local singles branch that my older sisters dragged me to when I got home from my mission. Brian had his cousin come over and harrass my wife until she began attending the same branch - which is where we met. And the rest is history, as they say.

My wife had many a conversation with Jill about how dumb boys can be when we were dating. We run into she and Brian once or twice a year.

Father of a friend from high school was also called as a 70. Before that, he was a mission pres in Portugal, and my friend and her sister were both called as missionaries before they were 21. The sister was only 18 when called, as I remember. Smart and pretty, they probably blew the elders' minds. Very nice family.

Interesting coincidence... I just saw in the Church News that the husband of the younger sister I mentioned here was just called to be a mission president.

I dated Elder Oaks daughter and ate dinner at his house with him and his wife June (may she rest in peace). I have worked closely with many 70s from the First Quorum because they were called from my Stake. I knew a few of President Benson's kids. I was in the same Stake as Elder Haight.
