He's second only to SU in terms of my favorite all time posters (like me, I believe SU is serious only about 10% of the time and 90% he's fantastic at getting everyone riled up).Originally posted by woot View PostI like Arch and find it to be a shame that he's so loyal to Mike that he'd confine himself to being little more than the secondary blogger on CG.

I don't know. Your comments in this thread undermine your claim. Setting aside the fact that there are few (if any) parallels between woot's and Arch's posting styles, there are no less than a dozen people here with access to the data needed to determine who's posting from what account. Arch does not post here and never has.Originally posted by Viking View PostBut I'm good at this game.

I can't say that this, while true, does anything to show empathy or make someone feel better, Viking. At least not me. If we knew each other in real life and were used to this sort of kidding, maybe. Now you have a testimony of this.
I actually can't say the church isn't true because that sort of a definitive statement would be nearly impossible to prove, just as it's nearly impossible to prove it is true. And what the hell does "true" mean anyway? Sorry you're in pain and i'm sure it will end one day as death is certain for all of us.
or maybe
when you say stuff like that.

When you two go into your "cool" rile up modes, you guys are good 50% of the time and the other 50% you act like a couple of jackasses. Actually, that is unfair to SU, he is down to about 26%.Originally posted by Viking View PostHe's second only to SU in terms of my favorite all time posters (like me, I believe SU is serious only about 10% of the time and 90% he's fantastic at getting everyone riled up).

We would be great friends in real life, you and me. I bet you would be one amazing stock analyst in BrazilOriginally posted by wuapinmon View PostI can't say that this, while true, does anything to show empathy or make someone feel better, Viking. Perhaps it was the messenger, and not the Lord, that has failed you. A mistake on the part of a fallible human vehicle shouldn't necessarily be interpreted as a lack of integrity on the part of the Almighty.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostI was promised in two different blessings that the Lord would heal me.
Alternately, perhaps it's simply that the timeline is unknown. As Solomon (and later the Byrds) noted, there is "a time to heal." Maybe that time hasn't yet arrived for you.

And yet I was in Long Island and told you that I was free for the evening, and you didn't even call me, so I had to listen to people <redacting> in the next room.Originally posted by Viking View PostWe would be great friends in real life, you and me. you ever want to leave academia for another form of academia (fundamental analysis is like applied academics where you can make shitloads of money), let me know.
