I worked with a guy who was an unabashed adulterer. He, too, preferred married women because he said they were discrete. He liked the fact that they had something to lose if word of the indiscretion came out.

This guy was single and reasonably hot, and I imagine he likes married women because they're already committed and won't try to tie him down.

I'm curious what it means that none of the women of the board participated in this competition?

Because.... frankly, I was pretty confused by this thread. It made me start wondering if men get propositioned WAY less often than women, if I've been propositioned more often than most, or if I'm just defining propositions more loosely.

My take home thought right now is that teaching your daughters to say 'no' might be more important than some here think. They just might have a few more opportunities to turn down partners than you'd expect based on your own lives???????

This might sound really provincial, but sometimes I wonder if this is part of the draw to being gay--promiscuity, i.e. guys that just really like sex in any form and are sick of having to break down any barriers to get it. I've known a few gay guys that make me really suspicious of this.

I'm not making a statement about every gay person out there. I've wondered this in a few cases, specifically, i know a few guys that were really into girls and then switch teams, one even saying that he just liked sex of any kind and that it was easier to get in the gay community.

Based on what you are saying, you are not describing gay guys. You are describing heterosexuals/bisexuals that simply would like to have lots of sex and are unwilling to invest emotionally (they are "sick of breaking down barriers" whatever that means), so they seek wherever they can find it.

Your conjecture would be patently offensive to the gay community and likely embarrassing to the medical community. Unless, in your experience, there are loads of medical professionals that subscribe to the "draw of being gay."

Which is why I said "sometimes", "a few cases", etc.

Hopefully, the medical community will recover from the embarrassment I've caused them. I'll cross my fingers and prepare for my appearance before the licensing board.
