Caribbean jerk chicken skewer with a side of fried plantains from a food truck in Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas. I’m going to fondly remember that one for a long time, both for the food and atmosphere.Comment

Yeah, Canes is similar to In-N-Out from a "people who rave about it mainly due to nostalgia but it's really nothing special" perspective.
They're both fine/average but Californians was poetic about In-N-Out and people from the midwest/south wax poetic about Canes. Just like people from the east wax poetic about Shake Shack and Utahns wax poetic about Training Table (RIP
) or JCWs or Swig or Cafe Rio, etc.
But none of those places are worth waiting in long lines for.Comment
