Exactly. That is an absurd description. I think NS is confused.

That's a fair description. I don't hate their fries. I'd just rather have McD's fries. And we've had the fry discussion before, but I also really like the cheese fries at Training Table. Five Guys fries are pretty good.

Five Guys fries are the GOAT.

INO fries suck. I don't order them because I don't eat them.

I'd put five guys fries #2 behind Freddy's

With the jalapeño fry sauce. That’s the good stuff.

Freddy's fries are too skinny. I prefer a more substantial fry. This Idaho boy wants to taste the potato!

                • I thought Freddy's fries were pretty good.

I prefer the skinny fries. Not a fan of the starchy texture or flavor of fatter fries.

My favorite fries are still the rosemary garlic Smashfies at Smashburger.

                    Those are decent fries.

I went to Five Guys once. Who eats this shit on purpose?

                      • This is more just wishful thinking. I'm tempted to place an order to have something shipped out to me.

So if I am in town, should I go there or Carnegie Deli?

Well I've never been there, so I can't give you a good recommendation. I just came across this place more or less randomly. I've got a close friend who served a mission in NYC and he said this is his favorite place to eat after Tavern On The Green closed. I just looked up TOTG and maybe they reopened. I'll have to check with him what the scoop is.

                              I thought Carnegie Deli closed?

                              ... Googling ....

Yes, indeed it did close in 2016. There is a "branch" inside Madison Square Garden but that's not really the same thing. I believe Katz is the last of the big famous New York delis. There are some other delis that have been around since the 60s and 70s but Katz has been operating for over 100 years. Carnegie Deli operated for almost 80 years before it closed.

                                Reading comprehension fail.

But as a follow-up, TOTG closed in 2009 and reopened with new owners and renovation in 2014 in the same building. I wonder if it's any good.
