By the way, JCWs has the closest imitation of Training Table’s cheese fries and dipping sauce that I’m aware of. The execution of the fries is not quite there but the sauce is virtually identical.

Are you... advocating for the Creamery burgers? They might be fantastic-- I just don't recall. I know for a fact I've had them though. Something about the dish was not satisfactory, though... like the fries were not as crispy as I like. Dunno! It's been probably 15 years.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View Post

also, don't listen to commando. if they aren't anything special, utah county doesn't have special burgers. which i guess is an argument one could make"I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

I had ice cream at the creamery on ninth tonight. It was very good but unfortunately the grill was closed by the time I got there so I couldn’t try the burgers."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. yes. i probably tried them for the first time about 5 or 6 years ago, maybe they are better now - not sure. it's a simple burger, so perhaps nothing special, but very good and it's hard to find a better burger within a 30 mile radius.Originally posted by Commando View Post

When working from home, I generally have this a couple of times a week. It is easy, healthy, and leaves plenty of calories for dinner!
1. Pre-heat air fryer
2. Open TJ's cauliflower and empty into a bowl. Sure you could use a whole head of cauliflower, but that is another 3-5 minutes you would waste washing and cutting it up!

3. Drizzle some olive oil over the cauliflower, sprinkle with kosher salt, and mix together. When feeling extra fancy, I add in some garam masala or something similar
4. Cook for 15 minutes at 390 degrees, stirring every 5 minutes. I like to cook it until it looks a little burnt, the exterior gets very crisp, and most of the water is cooked out so it is very light and fluffy.
I do the same thing with brussel sprouts and broccoli, but cauliflower is my favorite for lunch.
Feel free and use and share this recipe as long as you attribute it to me.

It could be because I'm hungry, but that sounds really good. The missus likes to roast brussel sprouts. She cuts them in half and drizzles some thickened balsamic among other things.Originally posted by Clark Addison View PostWhen working from home, I generally have this a couple of times a week. I finally made it to Sancho’s (Newport Beach location). It was delicious. Tip of the cap to HBCoug.Originally posted by HBCoug View Post
What are you in the mood for? If you're ok with greasy spoon, Paul's Place right off Los Alamitos Blvd has a lot of good options. If you can drive a little bit, take Los Al Blvd up to PCH, turn left, and drive PCH over to HB until you're at the pier at pick yourself up some Sancho's Tacos. Have yourself an OG or two and a Federale and thank me later."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

Holy Tri-tip, those OG's were a revelation! I got one of each and then had to get a second OG.
