I don't think I have ever eaten there and not ended up feeling disgusted with myself.

Speaking of which, I had the grilled cheese for guys at Carls Jr. There was waaay too much cheese, four slices I think. After my first bite it came oozing out the sides and through a crack in the top of the flat sourdough bun. Got it on my chin and hands, and with each bite the buns kept sliding off of the meat because there was so much cheese.

Their website says it's 870 calories, and that's just the regular. There's a "six dollar" size too.

Are you going veg? Why would you order grilled cheese at a burger place?
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

If that's the only thing you eat all day, you'll lose weight. Guaranteed. If you gain weight, blame it on all the other crap you ate after having the burger. Burgers get a bad rap.

You know what's actually good for you? A double burger, flame broiled or George Foreman'd, with no cheese, wrapped in lettuce with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, pickles, ketchup and mustard. You could have three a day and not gain weight.

I am a habitual In n Out patron. I have lived in Socal for almost 8 years. I went to five guys in Carson last month and found it superior to In n Out.

              BBQ is a unfair advantage.

The fries are tasty! I am a sucker for potato skins on my fries!

              Random Burger related question:

Did anyone ever go to the burger joint in the food court of Fashion Place mall in the 90s? It was called something like American Broiler Works. They had amazing burgers....there was some kind of powder on the buns that was awesome. The burgers reminded me of Eat-A-Burger. Any EAB fans on the forum???

There was an American Broiler Works in the Red Cliffs Mall in St. George, when the mall first opened. It was really good, but it was a bit too expensive to get enough of the high school lunch crowd (which is pretty necessary for food-court survival at that mall). It lasted about 5 or 6 years before giving way to a Chinese place.

I think the food court at the Red Cliffs mall consists of one place to eat and a couple of vending machines

There is a Five Guys not too far from here. I always order a small (single paddy) bacon cheeseburgers with A1 sauce. Nothing else on it. Good stuff to shove in your face.

                          Chiz's in St. Anthony.

                          Is it still there?

                          Has anyone else eaten there?

I remember EVERYTHING was breaded and deep fried.

We were up in Rexburg visiting my bro and sis in law about 8 or so years ago and he insisted we go there to get food.

                          He ordered.

I was surprised to see breaded and deep fat fried sirloin strips.

That was a weird meal. Not bad, not good....certainly very unhealthy.

I think it's still there. My mom is from St. Anthony - I spent every summer there as a kid, in the river/up on the farm. My family still gets Chiz's salad dressing.

Why go to Chiz's when you can go to Big Judd's in Archer?
