The board consensus is that it is clearly inferior. You and FMCoug are outliers.

It is similar to the debate one must engage in when car shopping. The BMW M5 is clearly superior to the Toyota Corolla, but can I afford to go with the better option, or is it a better value for me to take the Corolla?

I like them both. Five Guys has better fries, but In-N-Out has the better burger. And better prices.

Count me as one of the outliers.

And neither of these burgers are M5s or Corollas. More like the Acura TL v. the TL type S.

Really? You'd take a free In-N-Out meal over a free Five Guys meal? Go figure.

And good call on the comparison. In my defense, it was hastily made.

I still haven't gotten the impression that those who prefer 5 guys over in n out claim that in n out burger is CLEARLY inferior either.

I dunno, depends on the day. Which furthers the argument that neither is clearly superior or inferior to the other.

Last night I ate at In-N-Out for the first time since Chadder's opened.

I couldn't believe how similar the burgers taste. If Chadder's goal was to imitate In-N-Out, they hit it out of the park.

Also, as it's been a few years since I've eaten at an In-N-Out, I'd forgotten just how bad the fries are. They are almost inedible.

One of these 5 Guys places just opened in Seattle and I tried it the other day. Pretty good. Certainly on par or better than In-N-Out, but of course more expensive. Then I went and got the $6 burger at The Swinery On Main and it was so much better it erased all memory of either.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

See? If your argument is based entirely on quality, then In-N-Out is not in the discussion for best burger.

                            Value-wise, it is good.

Which is the best between Five Guys, Crown, and In-N-Out?

I have the same opinion. I had my first In-N-Out experience last week. Previously, I'd been to Chadders maybe a dozen times. I noticed no difference.

As per the In-Out vs Five guys comparison. Five guys burger a lot better, but the bun gets soggy and disintegrates. In-Out fries better (don't like the thick fries as much). Overall Five Guys slightly better but the price difference makes In-Out much better.
