OK, I give in. I will not force you to eat Cafe Rio.

I'm not a chipotle's fan. I will take Cafe Rio over Chipotles.

I had lunch at a taco stand today located here:

      [ame="http://maps.google.com/maps?q=40.619387,-111.889789&num=1&t=h&sll=40.402711,-111.881051&sspn=0.006295,0.006295&ie=UTF8&ll=40.61 9661,-111.889797&spn=0.005847,0.014999&z=17"]40.619387,-111.889789 - Google Maps[/ame]

      It was pretty good.

I don't know if it was authentic Mexican. I'm from Canada and don't really care.

The key to Chipotle is to sample the meats before you purchase and then pick the one that is the best that day. Oftentimes I find the chicken a little bland or something else dry. Most of the time you can hit one or two of them that are really good. The rest of the ingredients are fresh and standard for a burrito.

I also do not find a whole lot in common between Chipotle and Cafe Rio other than they are both offshoots of Mexican food.

I've found the key to Chipotle is to commit to throwing away half of your lunch. Regardless of taste and quality, putting down that entire burrito/bowl in one sitting always makes me feel like garbage.

No, that whoosh was the SBD fart his Chipotle burrito just caused. His credibility on this issue disappeared a long time ago when he changed his argument from "It's not Mexican if it's not spicy" to "It's just not very good".

As I read this thread, I am again reminded of how thankful I am to have so many good Mexican restaurants within minutes of anywhere I might be in town. Yes, this is a humblebrag

Grabbed a burrito at a random place in Vancouver, B.C. Way better than most places in Utah.

                      That's funny.

Actually, his original statements about how much he likes Olive Garden were on his FB feed, and then I gave him grief about it there and here.

One item! I said I like one thing there. Sheesh.

Regardless, nothing you say today can dampen my spirits. I've already been to 3 BBQ joints today. And now getting ready to head to a Royals game for more free food .... in a suite no less.

Try a Baja Ceviche at the Border Grill.

If you like pork, try, Tacos El Gordo's tacos adobadas.

                          Pambazo Torta at los Antojos.

If you like moles, try las Cazuelas.

These are local Las Vegas Mexican restaurants, of which there are plenty.
