You can buy firebricks at a place in SLC for about $1.50 each.
You can buy a thermapen retail at Sniders for $89, colors in stock my vary. You can also drive straight to thermoworks in Lindon and buy any color you want for $86, I think.
You can buy a Maverick remote therm all over the place. Get one with two probes, not one.
Pellets you can buy anywhere. $15-20 per bag is most common price.

I'm currently in the process of modding my Texas to add another shelf!
