We mostly use our air fryer for roasting veggies. Get a pack of thick asparagus from Costco, trim the stalks, toss in a big ziplock bag with olive oil, salt, and pepper and then cook at 400 degrees for 8 minutes shaking a time or two. Perfect every time. Cauliflower, carrots, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, broccoli, all amazing.

Just to be sure - you don't put the ziplock back in the fryer, do you? at 400 degrees??
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

That was my initial thought as well. “Wait, won’t the bag melt?”

Damnit Dude. I have plastic melted onto my food. It got really poor reviews from the kids.

Has anyone tried these Gyro slices from Sams Club? Big hit at our house. I think I'm going to use for some homemade loaded greek fries. Add in some kalamata, tzatziki, feta and banana peppers and it should be great.

Yes, tried them. They’re “OK” but not as good as Mrs Meanie’s homemade gyro meat. Coincidentally, we’re having gyros for dinner tonight.

Not fries, but I've started making potato wedges at home that are great.

Bake russet potatoes. 400 degrees for about an hour.
Chill the baked potatoes overnight in the fridge.
                  Slice the potatoes.
Fry in oil at 350 degrees.
                  Immediately salt generously.

They are delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like mashed potatoes. I would absolutely suggest loading these up with toppings.
