Also, if someone can help me make homemade tortillas it'd be great. I suck. It's been 10-11 years since I helped some sisters in the kitchen who showed me how.
My problem was my dough was too elastic. I'd put in the tortilla press and the damn thing would shrink right up and be thick. I tried a second recipe that called for less flour and more lard/shortening and still had the same results. I ended up rolling out about 6 tortillas with a pin to get them thin enough that they were okay. But I suck at rolling tortillas with a pin so they ended up irregular.
Our Costco doesn't carry the Tortilla Land uncooked tortillas and the closest store that does is 30 miles away. I am not driving that far."Nobody listens to Turtle."-TurtlesigpicComment
