Had a sandwich from Paseo's on Thursday, crepes from this new place called Citizen in lower queen anne on Friday, and beef bourguignon last night. My wife made a delicious lentil soup for Halloween; very flavorful, the type of savory taste that makes you salivate as you eat it. Carrots, garlic, celery, onions, leeks, lentils, broth, some tomato paste, and all goodness.
Friday's chicken and beef kabob from the local Iranian restaurant was delish too.Comment

I made a mean curried butternut squash soup for the Halloween party yesterday. The kids hated it, most of the adults hated it and I had three bowls. Something about it was offensive to the Midwestern palate.Comment
