That is why you have a secondary weapon. You choose Sniper Rifles so that you are deadly at long range but the disadvantage is that you are not as good upclose. If balance is desired, then I think quick scoping should be taken away. Sniping gives you the advantage from far away, so why should it be made equal (or better) to an UMP at short distance? i think it's important to note that even the best quickscopers are nowhere near as efficient at close range as an assault rifle. quickscoping, by its nature, is inconsistent and depends more on connection quality, opponents' connections, and other factors than any other weapon.Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

Nukes number 7 and 8 tonight, on Terminal and Rundown respectively. Number 7 was easy - spawn trap them at A and you win. It's very hard NOT to get a nuke with the AC if you have B and C and know anything about doing that. I was really close another couple of times on Terminal.
On Rundown, I had to be patient and camp for the last five kills. Long live claymores!Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Rundown is much harder to trap people with the AC because of all of the walls, buildings, level changes, etc. (I never use the chopper gunner anymore as it's too easy to bring down).Originally posted by FN Phat View PostNice! For my money the easiest one to trap people on is Terminal if you have B and C. You just keep putting bombs in the one skylight and you will rack up kills. I had a different game where I died at 14 while running for cover but had an AC ready when I respawned. I switched to a class with danger close pro and let them have it. I had a quintuple kill, a quadruple kill and three triple kills in addition to all the singles and doubles. Seriously like 25 kills in 40 seconds. Way easy. Went like 65-6 in that game.
I will be on tonight if anybody wants to try for a nuke-fest. I need two more for my emblem and I always love it when buddies get nukes too. We have several of us that can and do get them.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I think the point is that if you try and kill someone with an ump at long distance you have a chance, just not a good one. With close range and a sniper it's the same situation. When I'm running around with the scar and I come across a sniper, I'm very confident that I will be able to kill him before he can quick scope me, but occasionally he will.
