The headset arrangement on the PS3 was a disappointing surprise for me. I naturally assumed that the PS3 would follow the Xbox's model of a headset that plugs into the controller. Very user friendly.

Come to find out after purchasing my PS3 that I am either required to be tethered to the actual gaming console with a USB headset, or I have to use my old Motorola blue tooth ear piece that dangles loosely off my ear. Terrible on both sides.

buy a decent headset? it's not like the 360's headset is a model of reliability and high performance. it sucks.

I've found it to be perfectly suited to the job. I prefer a headset that goes over the head, not something that clings to the ear. Is such a bluetooth device available to me for less than $19.99? If so, I'd agree it's sixes.

That can't happen, infinity ward confirmed it. I read the post where they confirmed it can't happen but I can't find a link. This is the best I could come up with.

Yep from Infinity Ward:

Care Packages can be seen on the radar by everyone. It's marked green if it's friendly, otherwise red since it belongs to the enemy team. Care Packages, Emergency Airdrops and Tactical Nukes can't be acquired from the package.

It may have been a cheater. I've been playing a bit more Free4All, to level up my weapons, and I have been running into lots of cheaters. Basically two people find a private place in the tall grass where they place tactical insertions. One stabs the other. He respawns, plants his tactical, and then stabs the first person. Wash rinse repeat, and get a nuke.

The first time I came across a couple of these losers, I literally felt disgusted, as if I had opened a colleague's magazine at work and discovered hidden kiddie porn.

I don't play FFA, but nuke boosters are apparently becoming a real problem. I have also been a few games where people cheat (one in particular where the entire CUF team jumped in with some people with lag switches). Not cool.

Entered my 3rd prestige today, and when I did I checked my barracks to find that I have logged a solid 8 days on this game. 192 hours. since christmas. Then while sitting at work I came across this:

That's crazy, must have glitched or something? idk, but I would have been PISSED if I lost the game to a nuke that someone got from a 4 killstreak.

The sad thing about this thread is that eventually MW2 will be replaced by MW3, and we will all move on... but the Lakers will still be around. DDD knows he has us licked.
