I have been significantly better on MW3 than any other game as a statistical matter. This is empirically true.

About two weeks before I got MW3 I was doing some routine router maintenance and decided to forward my Xbox port.

I haven't noticed the difference in speed or lag or anything but I have statistically. Is this a coincidence?
Possibly, but I doubt that routing overhead would make a difference in latency. At most I would expect that a router reconfiguration would result in a change of a microsecond or two at most, and that's probably way too high, and it could be a few microseconds faster, or slower. Any difference would be the result of a change in the order of entries in iptables, since that's all implemented in hardware in the router any difference is likely to be very negligible and dwarfed by other sources of latency.

Flynn found out last night that if you click on the various accolades, you can see how you rank amongst your friends list. It has been interesting to see how accurately it depicts playing styles. For example, niku has the most statuesque kills of anyone on cuf. File quickly pointed out that I am not far behind niku, which is true, but alas...I also have the most sniper kills!

I am second behing either Jtauk or Oden in most distance travelled.

Run and gun, baby. Run and gun. Last night was mostly just run and respawn.

            • I finally got range for the spas-12 last night...it did not take me long to get the damage in a short time this afternoon. It really brings this gun to life. It has comparable as the striker but is a one shot kill if in the chest /head.

              So much fun.

              • Played against a guy last night who was in his 9th prestige (!). I'm not sure if you can see how many hours people have played like in blops, but he had to be around 7-8 days I'd guess.

I like seeing the accolades leaderboard, Tick has a commanding lead in the "most time spent on knees" rankings.

I played against a 10th prestige the other day. He sucked. But it was pretty incredible that somebody has put in that much time.

CUF could have had it's own 10th prestige by now but you were too greedy

Yes, it came with the most recent download. There is a "Capture" point and you have to be physically present in the drop area. The more players from your team in the DZ, the more points you get. All killstreaks are suspended, but you get crates dropped depending on how long you can hold the DZ.

With the Trophy System and Blast Shield, you can't really noob tube, and the respawns put you FAR AWAY on the other side of the map, so it really takes away from the spamming crap that you'd think would happen. Tactical Insertion, when used right, can give you a huge advantage. You can also rack up the kills really quickly. I had a four kill knife streak in about 10 seconds last night. So, if you get a good solid team that communicates and doesn't worry about K/D, you can really kick some ass and level up really quickly.

Strikeouts are boring and besides that, they're fascist.
