Specialist is especially good for kill confirmed because the addition of all the perks makes you feel like a superstrong rush class. It's the class I usually run with my UMP.

I haven't used specialist more than once or twice. Is it a standard killstreak where you need to actually have... a streak of kills? In other words, its not like Support, correct?

It's settled, I'm doing specialist on kill confirmed, I will prestige before the weekend is out.

When you do, use your prestige token to unlock Assassin. You can thank me later.

Btw, I really liked the FAD. Unlocks at 78 so I didn't have a chance to use it much but high rate of fire + large capacity mag = happiness.

Yeah, I'm not sure I buy everything he says, that one included, but I could be wrong. Is the match bonus based on the total points you earned during the game including achievements? Plus, double XP doesn't apply to completing challenges I thought. Am I wrong in all this? Seems too easy.

You could be right. Plus, this comment from that guy has me doubting all of his comments:

Correct. But if you use hardline it starts with your first kill. After seven kills you unlock all the perks you have except overkill.

In my opinion, this is the best way to get XP fast, just by being good at the game. You can do a lot to step up your own game, but when you're in a room when someone goes 30 and 5, it's just hard to compete with that.

Has anyone played with Nik's alternate account? I realized that whenever I play, I want to be leveling up my own rather than the communal account--selfish, I know.

Seriously, though (and this is for flystripper), there are a lot of different playstyles out there and it may take you a while to find your own. I'm a stealth guy mostly, and while I may have the most kills on my team on any given match, fils/zubaz/phat are more likely to have more than me in any given match. Where I excel is in not dying - I rarely if ever go negative. Sometimes I'll feel it and go off with a rush class, but more often I try to be invisible, know the maps cold, and have a sixth sense when it comes to swapping spawns. (And be the host a lot too). This makes me a bit of a lone wolf - I function best when teammates are nowhere to be found.

This may or may not be your style, but more of my play is based on getting the jump on people and sneaking up behind them then winning one on one. In a one on one battle most of the people on here would probably beat me more often than not. The main point is that you can hone your gamecraft to negate superior gun skill.

Okay, so I looked at some of my captured footage to see if there is anything worth posting, video wise. Three things:

- my play style is kinda boring to watch unless I weave together a montage, which seems like an awful lot of work for a damn game. Also, it seems kinda narcissistic, not that that is unusual for me I guess.

- I got super motion sick watching it. So sick I almost puked. Why this is not a problem when I actually play is anybody's guess, but high sensitivity + checking my flank a lot = one way ticket on the vomit express.

- I noticed a lot more stuff than I do when I play (position of people, etc.). I make some dumb moves sometimes and get lucky.

Man, you guys are putting in work. I will be online tonight...after dinner. I have been playing around with quickscoping and am having a blast. My k/d has dropped a bit but it is worth it. I suck at it for the most part but when a string of 2-3 kills happen it is fun as hell.

I'll be on tonight, I'm hoping to prestige as well, but I'm still in the 50s. I wish I could see exactly where I'm at and what challenges I could focus on to level up quickly so I don't need to waste time doing that at home. If only they'd build a site where this could all be accessible!
