I went to Walmart on my way to work they had about 50 copies for each system.

They also had a huge tent set up where you could play the game. I guess last night starting at 8pm they had a tournament as well.

I'm liking the game, despite not playing a ton yet. I really like the feel of the guns, etc. Although there are some cool perks (reaper was fun), it seems like there are constantly killstreaks up in the air, which could become tiresome. I'm looking forward to getting the cold blooded perk or whatever because of all those killstreaks.

Best Buy was a joke, they had a line for pre-order and a line to just buy and the line to just buy went much quicker because the pre-orders had specific games for the person that they had to find. The programmers of the game were there and signing autographs though, I passed.

They were still playing when I logged off at 2:45 PST. I played a couple of games with them, but so that they know, I didn't accept their first invite because I was playing with a friend. We tried to join up but it wouldn't work, so I did alone once he logged off.

I would love to post some of my highlights. You know, the type were I get the drop on some guy, from behind, squeeze of nearly a whole round and then he turns around and drops me with one shot. Everyone would be laughing.

I don't think it records in-game voices. And the Elite website is having all sorts of major hiccups right now. Both Elite and the Dew XP stuff are taking a while to sort out.

I agree that the game it totally badass. This is the sort of thing I wanted Blops to be. I played until I started sucking, and then I did some of the campaign mode. A few thoughts:

Favorite gun so far is the UMP. Nerfed my ass. Stick on a red dot and rapid fire and you have a beastly weapon.

I've used a good portion of the killstreaks, and I agree with fils: there's always something in the air. The frequency of UAVs is pretty nutty and funny. As soon as I got Assassin, I threw that and Blind Eye on a class and went dark.

I love that it's not taking some sort of superhuman effort to get the pro version of the perks. I hated that about Blops.

The guns feel right. Not much more to say about them. But the maps are all pretty dang tight, so SMGs are the way to go. Again, props to the UMP. I did snipe a bit on Mission and on Seatown with the AS something-or-other, and that was nice.

As far as the killstreaks go, my favorite class is the Specialist class. As soon as I hit level 20 I made a rush class with the UMP and hardline. One kill, you get another perk. 7 kills, you get all the perks, even the ones that you don't have unlocked. Super fast way to level up because you get extra points for kills as a specialist. And it's a fast way to level up a lot of the perks.

I can't remember if I turned off my Hauppage PVR before I started going nuts with the specialist class. If not, I'll post a vid.

Yeah, the UAVs and advanced UAVs were ridiculous. I didn't do well with the UMP, but the SCAR is great, just like it was in MW2.
