A regular copy? or Hardened?

If its just a regular copy, are you being facetious? Or is there some discount/promotion that you're getting with the gamestop copy? Why not just go to Walmart at 12:10 a.m.?

Hardened, and I don't want to get only five hours of sleep tomorrow because work is going to be really busy.

I think only places like Gamestop would sell out. I work right by Bestbuy and showed up the day MW2 came out and they had hundreds of copies. Also K-mart, Shopko, Walmart, Sears, and even Walgreens will carry it.

I think this is probably right. Gamestop doesn't have a ton of inventory space. But they do midnight releases and have Hardened (and they do trade-in credit) so the demand is higher there.

Is GameStop the only local place that will have hardened?

I basically took BLOPS off, hardly playing it at all. I'm ready to jump back in with MW3 and I imagine I'll be buying all the map packs, so hardened might make sense.

Elite is up and online, at least partially. It has breakdowns of all the weapons and maps, including unlock ranks.

sorry for the noob question but is Elite somthing that I need to buy seperately if I am not getting the Hardened edition? Do I need to buy elite for each gammertag that wants to have elite access? I know, I know, I am Dwight Howard noob tubing this thread, but I am trying to figure out how much scratch I need to drop.

I wouldn't buy elite at all, if I were you. Its not necessary to play multiplayer. I would imagine most of the CUF clan will not be buying it.

Elite is free, save a few things. If you are getting the hardended edition you are automatically buying the non-free things.

Linked my PS3 and Xbox accounts (gonna pass on FB), but it says you need to play a game first... does that mean all previous information is ignored or that i just need to prime the pump? I guess I dont' really care since I won't play the older games anymore, but I was just curious to see the layout before midnight.

I can't access it. It isn't the same one for the beta, elite.callofduty.com, nor www.callofduty.com/elite. Neither work for me.

If you're planning on buying the map packs when they come out (and I am), there's no reason not to just get elite. One year of elite is less than all the map packs. That there's a bunch of other stuff that I may not ever use is beside the point.

Not all of us buy all the maps packs, and that's okay too.
