I think this is probably right. Gamestop doesn't have a ton of inventory space. But they do midnight releases and have Hardened (and they do trade-in credit) so the demand is higher there.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI think only places like Gamestop would sell out. I work right by Bestbuy and showed up the day MW2 came out and they had hundreds of copies. Also K-mart, Shopko, Walmart, Sears, and even Walgreens will carry it.Awesomeness now has a name. Is GameStop the only local place that will have hardened?Originally posted by nikuman View PostI think this is probably right. Gamestop doesn't have a ton of inventory space. But they do midnight releases and have Hardened (and they do trade-in credit) so the demand is higher there.
I basically took BLOPS off, hardly playing it at all. I'm ready to jump back in with MW3 and I imagine I'll be buying all the map packs, so hardened might make sense.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

This dude was hard to watch due to the sensitivity but apparently you can get an AC-130 and an osprey (think a stationary chopper gunner) in one killstreak!!!

sorry for the noob question but is Elite somthing that I need to buy seperately if I am not getting the Hardened edition? Do I need to buy elite for each gammertag that wants to have elite access? I know, I know, I am Dwight Howard noob tubing this thread, but I am trying to figure out how much scratch I need to drop.Last edited by Flystripper; 11-07-2011, 04:05 PM.Dyslexics are teople poo...

I wouldn't buy elite at all, if I were you. Its not necessary to play multiplayer. I would imagine most of the CUF clan will not be buying it.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postsorry for the noob question but is Elite somthing that I need to buy seperately if I am not getting the Hardened edition? Elite is free, save a few things. If you are getting the hardended edition you are automatically buying the non-free things.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postsorry for the noob question but is Elite somthing that I need to buy seperately if I am not getting the Hardened edition? Linked my PS3 and Xbox accounts (gonna pass on FB), but it says you need to play a game first... does that mean all previous information is ignored or that i just need to prime the pump? I guess I dont' really care since I won't play the older games anymore, but I was just curious to see the layout before midnight.Originally posted by nikuman View PostElite is up and online, at least partially. It has breakdowns of all the weapons and maps, including unlock ranks.
Flystripper, I don't know much, but I think you can sign up for Elite (i just did) and get basic access for free.

I can't access it. It isn't the same one for the beta, elite.callofduty.com, nor www.callofduty.com/elite. Neither work for me.Originally posted by nikuman View PostElite is up and online, at least partially. If you're planning on buying the map packs when they come out (and I am), there's no reason not to just get elite. One year of elite is less than all the map packs. That there's a bunch of other stuff that I may not ever use is beside the point.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postahh ok. Thanks.
Not all of us buy all the maps packs, and that's okay too.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.
