I hate that tap X crap, but that wouldn't transfer into online play.

I agree, for me these games are all about the online play. I haven't finished the campaign on either MW2 or COD WaW.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

This is where I defer from lots of folks here. I won't play online until I finish the campaign.

        • I am jonesing to play some more. The baseball/softball schedule(4 kids playing 2-3 games a week, each) is really cramping my evenings

          • Alright, bitches! I am in for tomorrow night and possibly tonight! I thought I'd be working like mad over the next 48 hours but I got a reprieve. Who's in?

I will never pray for a father-son camping to get rained out. Especially when the father knows what he is doing with camping (which I presume you do, what with the elk head and all). So you're on your own there.

Unless I get rained out tomorrow night (and there is a 60% chance) I will not be online until Saturday night.

wuap, what exactly do you see as the source of your suckiness? I didn't realize how bad I sucked until I watched some gameplay videos online and realized I was making super stupid mistakes. Once I became aware of those mistakes, I made some major improvements.

We camp on a sand pit. With a storm incoming, we will get rain(sucks) or wind(really sucks). I would prefer to camp in the mtns, but my opinion is lost in my absence.

                            1. My internet connection
                            2. Creature of habit. I don't move enough. I swear sometimes it's like Tenveux KNOWS what I'm going to do next.
                            3. Still at 6 on my controller sensitivity.
                            4. Unlucky as hell.
                            5. Not caring about K/D. For example, last night I was like 7 -30 on HQ. We won, and I was top player (points wise), but I was like a lamb in Mecca during the Hajj.
                            6. I can't switch my controller to tactical. It's too weird, even though I get killed at least once per game because I go to aim and I take a swipe with my knife because I pressed too hard.

I'm bored with making the list now, but you get the idea. I've watched videos too, and I really think my internet connection is what makes me suck, mostly. I never ever have four green bars. I owned people at Team Fortress on Half-Life when I lived in Provo and had a lightning-fast connection. My town is beyond the middle of nowhere, and I am unimpressed with my Speedtest results (for example, my server is "Farmers Telephone Co-op"):

Hmm. I'm no pro at diagnosing internet issues, but from what I (just barely) read online, anything above 256k up should be enough. The faster the better, sure, but I think you're in a decent range. But you're the guy that's playing on it, so what do i know.

I think its funny that you say you're "still at 6" on controller sensitivity. Does that mean you're trying to go higher? I went up to 6 for a few days (from 2!) and it was horrible. I'm back down to 4, and hopefully that's the right balance, but it can still be tough trying for fine aiming adjustments. I might recommend turning down your sensitivity a bit. Sensitivity to me feels like one of those things that people set high just to say they have it set high, and not necessarily b/c they need it high. Sure, some people (people on CUF) do very well with it high, but others (me, maybe HL) do much better with it in a medium to lower range.

One of the recent tips I've been trying to incorporate is only shooting from cover (if possible). It sounds obvious and sort of stupid, but if you consciously try to always seek cover before you shoot (i.e. play like you're the dude in the game and bullets hurt), you can more consistently have the advantage when you have an encounter.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
