I just gotta say... I'm running Special Ops mode right now and ... does it really get better than killing gangsters in the Favela do Rio? Because it is very awesome.

Don't ask me. But it does. There are certain combinations of attachments with certain weapons that serve to greatly reduce recoil. For example, I never use the TAR without a silencer because the silencer reduces recoil on that one specifically - more than the others. Same with the holo sight and M16. Don't ask me how it works or why IW chose to do it that way - but they did. The holo with M16 is pretty well documented.

I think it has to do with the halo sight being further toward the front of the rifle, making it a bit more balanced.

I have been playing with the intervention w/ the G18 as my back up gun and have been liking it a lot. I am getting the hang of the quick scope and am back in the saddle of no-scoping. I used to be really good at no scopes in COD4 w/ the M40 ACOG. It is fun switching things up a bit.

Look for me. I'm going to try the OMA strategy out. I think I'll have a "close range" class where I go with Akimbo Uzis and stopping power plus grenades to compensate for the loss of shottys.

What's the strategy/mechanics behind quick scope/no scoping? Bring up the scope just long enough to get the benefit of the aiming?
