Compare it to the Xbox guys playing football in the SEC and the PS3 Boyz are playing in the MWC.

That's why i said deaths needs to be integrated into it. This won't be an easy formula. That's probably why I'll never be able to develop it.

Actually, the more I think about it, the only stat that really matters is your win/loss ratio. It's essentially a measure, in the abstract, of how much of an effect on your team winning you have. Mine is 1.22. So what you do is you take that number and then plug that in with a bunch of other numbers in a regression to see which one is most important, other than winning percentage.

I thought about that too, and although I agree that it is a strong indicator, comparability is somewhat difficult. For instance, what if one leaves a lot of games b/c friends send invites? Or there's lag (i suppose not an issue on Xbox)? Or you join a game and the team is getting destroyed? Further, what if you only play with friends, or not? When I play with people who communicate, I'll always win more than just playing mercenary TDM alone.

So, i think overall it doesn't provide comparability (although I'll agree >1 means you're good), but if you were to do 50 mercenary TDM, whoever can win the most of those would be a good indicator.
