Yar's revenge is the only game I was really good at. I could roll it.
The original Mario Brother's was the funnest to play in a group though. Popping the turtles back over before the other player got them. Endless hours of fun.

We bought a Coleco back in 1983. I hadn't played an Atari before that. A kid around the corner had one and it was obviously totally ghetto compared to the kick ass Coleco. Coleco had this awesome game called Ladybug. Donkey Kong Jr and Time Pilot were also well done.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”Comment

I loved playing Raiders of the Lost Ark on the 2600. I'm not sure I really understood the tie-in to the movie, since you were this walking fire hydrant and you had to pick up this squiggle and then place this blocky square in this other place and then....
