Trial in the last two episodes and yes it was rushed and had what I would consider to be some big gaping holes and left me wondering why they didn't do this or that..

I still enjoyed it but it fell..

    • I watched episode 1 of the Grand Tour last night. As expected, it's pretty similar to Top Gear, which I think is a good thing. I though the traveling studio format will be cool.

I've been catching up on this. It's pretty awesome. I couldn't stop laughing at the third episode.

Just finished season 2 of "The Man in the High Castle".

Similar to season 1, it has a slow simmer that comes to a boil in the last episode. I find it to be very intriguing and keeps my attention.

My view of the Nazi regime takes a sympathetic view point which I found to be interesting.

Looking forward to seeing how this goes..

I need to watch those, too. I saw the first episode and part of the one in South Africa. How many are available now?

Did it get picked up for a third season? I enjoyed both very much. I agree that the acting and script is written so well that empathy for each occupying force is felt. Even John Smith, whom you hate and love, is a fascinating character.

                  • Anybody watch The Travelers on Netflix?

We watched Four Seasons in Havana, a crime series and La Nina, a Colombian telenovela.

I enjoyed the last two or three episodes, but didn't love the rest. Also, the trade minister's alternate reality sort of bothers me. It like watching LOST when they started talking about dirty water in the temple...

I agree with the criticism about the Trade Minister's alternate reality but loved how Smith used the film from the alternate reality.

I did not mind the alternate reality. To me it provided the "how" the movies got their in the first place.

And I found myself rooting for Smith. Will be interesting to see what happens to Joe in all of this..

                            "Gleason".

I was able to finally watch this documentary on the former NFL player for the NOLA Saints. The player who blocked the punt that many of us know as "The Rebirth".

What a powerful, emotional, inspiring, soul crushing, forever impacted documentary this is.

At 34 being diagnosed with ALS and finding out your wife is pregnant 5 weeks later has to be the ultimate feeling on each side of the spectrum. This video journal of his life dedicated to his son tugs at your heartstrings and allows all of us into his private life and battle of this terrible disease..

Take a moment and watch this documentary and I promise you will be left forever impacted by this strong and inspiring individual and his family (Mainly his wife).

                            WOW!

I watched this one recently and agree. I came away very inspired and thought it was very well done.
