Super and I were sitting in FiveGuys when this came on today. This little voice singing this song made me feel terribly sad. It caught me quite off guard.

My dad and brothers and I are all big James Taylor fans. Super hates him for some reason. Have you listed to any Ben Taylor? One of his sons who fell not too far from the tree.

I haven't found Ben yet. I'll keep an eye out for him.

If any of you have not acquired a taste for the Nutcracker's music I strongly recommend it. It is as accessible as Michael Jackson, but complex and timeless as Beethoven. Truly beautiful art.

The Nutcracker is fantastic. I listen to it every year around this time. There was a Russian Ballet troupe that came through here 3 years ago and I dropped some serious coin and took the whole family. They cut the performance short when the leading lady fell and broke her leg. I was pissed.

But it was fantastic up to that point.

I would venture to say I have probably seen The Nutcracker performed 5 or 6 different times and I enjoy each one. A great ballet.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Agreed. This and Swan Lake were a staple of my mission listening.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Not sure why, but I've always liked this song. Maybe it's the beautiful piano melody in the background.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. "Hate" is such a mild word to use for my disdain of JT...

As long as the JT here is James Taylor and not Justin Timberlake, then I'm ok with that.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
