I wouldn't call it a great movie. It was a good movie but the experience was great. My wife said she felt like she was a 90 minute ride. I think that is a good description.

Definitely worth seeing and 3d is a must.

      Very good description.

Great ride / great experience sounds like great movie to me, but I haven't seen it yet.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I didn't see myself seeing it to be honest with you, as I thought it would somehow find a way to be policitically slanted. Couple that with me not being a huge SB fan and it looked like a long shot. But on Saturday we took our daughter and her friends to see the Cloudy Meatballs movie and thought better of going home and returning later. We were both glad be stayed.

:anger: Neither of you has the first clue of which side of the aisle I fall on as I keep that pretty close to the vest in this setting. I know better than to open myself up to the likes of you! The fact that I mention a Clooney movie might be political in no way gives away my political leanings. I likewise am wary of seeing any movie starring Mel Gibson (insert joke here) or any politically radical person for that matter. I see movies to get away from that crap and I don't talk about my politics here to get away from this crap. I award you no deductive reasoning points and may God have mercy on your souls. :moon:

                  your political leanings are irrelevant.

I remember when Wall-E came out and people on CB were ranting because of its "liberal" message. My kids and I loved Wall-E because it was a great show. I managed to escape unscathed by politics.

Is there a Vesuvius emoticon???!!!! (yes, this emoticon can also serve as an everyone-else-but-me-is-taking-crazy-pills expression of emotion).

Another one was "American President." My roommate at BYU came home and was upset because he claimed that the introductory montage during the opening credits featured only Democrats and no traditional "republicans." Instead of seizing the opportunity to put a move on his date after a pretty decent chick flick, he was up in arms over the "politics."

Turns out he was gay, though

                        WTH?

Turn in what's left of your man card. There is no such thing as a decent chick flick, let alone a pretty decent chick flick. That is why I never saw that lame movie.

And Wal-E couldn't have any kind of effect on you because you're too far to the left to be affected by it.

Don't let Gracie get to you, BITF. You're nothing like me when it comes to choosing movies. While I hate movies with a liberal slant, that's not why I won't see Gravity. A movie could be about splicing the DNA of Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater with the plot being about capturing Stalin, Castro and Mao then feeding them a brontosaurus-sized man-eating tiger and I wouldn't see it if Clooney was in it.
