  • Gravity

Cuaron is back with his first feature since Children of Men almost seven years ago. I've seen this trailer at a couple different movies now, and I'm always a bit perplexed as to what the story is here. But it's racking up some serious praise and I'm pretty interested in seeing it. The visuals look incredible.

So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

    So far, so good.

Seems like a great concept for a movie. That trailer is far more chilling to me than any horror flick.

Yeah, maybe all the dumbasses that said they would do an one-way trip to mars would reconsider after seeing this.

I rarely give a rat's patootie about visuals anymore. But this is different. And I love the use of Arvo Part's "Spiegel im Spiegel" in the soundtrack (yes, I am trying to score cheap culture points there).

The Lubezki cinematography is supposed to be spectacular. Maybe he'll finally get an Oscar. It was insane they he didn't win for The Tree of Life.

She definitely is a prime specimen on the effects of gravity.

Excellent. Glad we dropped a few extra bucks to watch in 3d.

It's Uncle Ted recommended. Lots of great visuals and Bullock doesn't look bad as well. It kind of gives you the feeling that you are there along for the ride.

I will likely go see it. Gravity always wins.
