No. I don't see movies with dickhead liberals in them like Clooney and Penn.

Like others, I want a movie to be an escape. When there is a dickhead liberal is on the screen, it's not an escape. It's just 2 hours of that dickhead liberal on the screen.

See, BITF, we don't need another one of these.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I can't imagine not being able to enjoy something because I was so worried about someone's partisanship.

Not worried; disgusted with their characterizations of people who share my political leanings.

Turns out he was gay, though

Btw, I liked American President but as a moderate middle-grounder (there, you got it out of me) I have to admit that the President's speech, at least the part about 'getting the guns', was off the charts. Or more to the point, political suicide in modern America.

Edit: And yes, I get the point about whether or not the movie is politically motivated to one side or the other shouldn't affect my ability to enjoy the acting, story, etc but personal bias on specific issues can make the suspension of disbelief difficult. That would be my main point with politics in any movie, for me at least.

I've seen the original Oceans 11. No need to watch the remake. And no, I didn't see O Brother Where Art Thou.

EPu also hates The Facts of Life!!! That is simply un-American.

You say it's un-American to not like that show, but we both know that the reason you want to call me un-American is that I schooled you a number of years ago with a Fact of Life/Christmas song pun.

Very good movie. Funny and well scripted.

I do remember that, it was excellent timing and delivery. However, there is nothing inherently un-American about making hilarious puns about TFOL/Xmas.

Not a chance. It has dickhead liberals. Also, Mrs. ipu didn't want to see it, so ipu didn't get a chance to watch.

Okay, I'll admit that I've seen some of his stuff before I learned what a political dickhead he is. I've also not watched any of his films, including his early stuff, since I learned what a political dickhead is.
