My son is finally starting to get into this universe. I'll start watching some with him. Whats better, Clone Wars series or Rebels?

The good thing about having your son watch the clone wars is that they begin pretty light but build through seven seasons into incredible storytelling and they tie seamlessly into the movies. Dave Filoni was the mastermind of the clone wars and is a driving force in all of the series they are doing on Disney plus. I will watch anything he has a hand in.

The feature length is kind of like a penance you must suffer in order to fully deserve the actual series. I don't think there has ever been a series that started so low and ended so high. Rebels, like Clone Wars, starts pretty slow, but not as slow. It also gets into some pretty obscure corners of the SW universe- the last season is absolutely bonkers; I can't believe it's canon. The parallel to Vader in Rogue One was pretty cool. Favreau has balls of steel, but this is probably where SW needs to go. That post credit scene back in Jabba's palace hit me right in the nostalgia receptors.
