They also want to give Episode VIII the holiday boost that VII had. Instead of Episode VIII, Disney will release Pirates of the Caribbean: Escape from the Retirement Home.Originally posted by Commando View PostAllegedly they are re-writing the script a bit to give Rey and Finn and Poe a bit more and scale back the new characters some. Not that, sickos.

It also wouldn't hurt to give us more than a 5 month break between SW movies, seeing as how Rogue One comes out December of this year. As it stands, I'm about all Star Warsed out. And it's not looking to stop, either, between the Rebels series, all the video games, the new theme parks, etc etc etc. Disney needs to calm tf down just a bit. My nostalgic side is just a little disappointed that we're not getting back to the traditional SW May releases, but that's not a huge deal. It was kind of nice to see it over the holiday break- one more thing to look forward to.Originally posted by thesaint258 View PostThey also want to give Episode VIII the holiday boost that VII had. I never quite understood the appeal of the POTC movies. I've seen em all but they got boring pretty quick."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Simple math at $10 per ticket gives us 8,130,000 viewers. According to the latest United States census the current US population is 318.9 million people. That means that less than .025% of the US population has seen Star Wars. That is assuming those are unique viewers as well, I would estimate at least 25% have seen it multiple times. Therefore you are way off on your assessment.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View Postquick fix*Banned*

I see you are a Math Master yourself. You get 2.5% with those numbers.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThe numbers disagree. Star Wars has now grossed $813 million. True. I think he was speaking in hyperbole, though. My mom didn't see it, so I know for a fact he couldn't have been speaking literally.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostMeh whatever. Point still stands. He is wrong about every American seeing the movie."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"
