Yeah I have friends that are just in love with that movie and will watch it all the time. I saw it once and really didn't return to it. Maybe some day.

I'll have to watch it again. I remember watching it late one night and just not being able to get into it. I'm not positive I finished it, or I might have fallen asleep.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View Post
At my first viewing I was kind of a "Huh?" But friends assigned me to watch it again, and suddenly it became very enjoyable, kind of like figuring out a Magic Eye picture. Now it's the kind of movie I'll watch for awhile whenever it's available, And yes, there are dozens of great lines,

It's a good movie, but it's also a remake, so it's not as pure-Coen as some of their other stuff.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
You should remedy that tout suit. I would say it’s one of their best all around movies, and one that even anti-Coen bros people cannot deny it’s excellence.
O Brother, Where Art Thou is one of my favorites.

Please advise when a consensus is reached so I know what I should do.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThis discussion brings up an interesting question: Which is more hip and edgy? Liking Wes Anderson movies or being too cool for Wes Anderson movies?
Hmm...
