If anyone wants to get some background on the story before seeing Oppenheimer, Fat Man and Little Boy is pretty good. It stars Paul Newman, John Cusak, Laura Dern, John McGinley, among others. It gives a good overview of some of the characters and background, as well as political themes. John Cusak’s character is actually a fictionalized character made of a composite of men who worked at Los Alamos on the Manhattan Project.
It can be rented on Amazon Prime for like $3.

I'm getting excited about Oppenheimer coming out in a few days. The early buzz is that this is Christopher Nolan's best work yet. That's a high bar.

Over on CB, I saw them lamenting that Nolan had gratuitously included nudity in this movie. Makes sense that you're among the first in line.

Nolan's movies are some of my favorite, yet they conspicuously lack nudity. Depending on what type of nudity Oppenheimer has, it may become his best work ever!
