You should just watch it. It's pretty good. It's well written. One of the top three or four shows on TV right now.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Mainly deductions. Imagine a limey version of Psych.

Heh I love Psych but that's a pretty bad comparison. Psych is a comedy, for starters. Sherlock is just a straight, high-quality update of the old stories with a modern setting. Since there are probably a dozen Sherlock Holmes clones on TV right now (The Mentalist, Bones, Elementary, etc.), Sherlock's ability to stand out is notable.

One thing I didn't realize was that Mary and john are a couple in real life and have multiple children. I need to pay more attention to what's going on in the UK!

Are these new crimes, or would a student of Holmes recognize the crime solving from some of Doyle's original work?
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

There's a modern twist to most everything, but a student of Holmes would definitely recognize the crimes from Doyle's original stories.
                Not that, sickos.
