Just watched the last episode of Season 2. Fall seems very far away.

This is a prequel to season 3 which starts back up in January. (I saw dates of January 17th and January 19th when I Googled it)

I look forward to this season more than I am looking forward to any other movie or show right now. I love it.

During the long stretch leading up to Season 3, we started watching Elementary, with Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu playing the Holmes and Watson roles. The story is set in NYC with Holmes helping the NYPD after leaving London in disgrace as an addict. The show has grown on me and I even like Lucy Liu. But then to warm up for Sherlock's Season 3 which kicks off Sunday, we watched the excellent last episode of Season 2 and it all came back to me why Sherlock is clearly the superior show. We excited for Sunday night, although perhaps not that excited as we may not watch it until Monday so no spoilers until then, eh?

You have great patience waiting when you can watch it now. We are already done with season 3.

You must also still receive the Deseret news on your doorstep.

Well, now that you mention it, we get two papers on our driveway each morning. I was wondering why all the neighbors laugh as they pass by; I thought it was my Spiderman pajamas but perhaps they mock my 20th Century newsgathering habits.

As my presence here this evening suggests, I'm open for some entertainment. I have DirecTV, Roku, Netflix and other media awaiting me. What's the easiest way to access "The Empty Hearse" to kick off Season 3?

PAC don't fall for it, there is nothing wrong with waiting. Often the anticipation makes things even better. I will be joining you in watching Sherlock season 3 episode 1 tonight.

So Sherlock is in its third season.

If somebody is so inclined, please identify the show's virtues.

As Elementary was originally planned, I had tried to watch but never finished an episode.

Sherlock appears to be set in the Industrial Period of the 19th Century. What is its appeal?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

It is actually set in modern day UK. Basically a modern take on several of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories about Sherlock Holmes. I think it is well-conceived and well-acted.

Does he use modern devices in addition to with to solve crimes? Or does Watson use the devices while Holmes makes astounding deductions.
