I can't believe I left out my favorite eighties song.

    Kyrie - Mr. Mister

The song is one big crescendo and is extremely uplifting. It rules in every way a good song should. I think I need to add it to my jogging queue.

Similarly, I can't believe I omitted "On the Radio" by Donna Summer. Things haven't been the same since she broke up last June.

Is there a wiki page for music I never listened too? If so I would have used it.

Kudos for the Skid Row and Def Leppard nods. I'd also throw some classic Bon Jovi in there ("Bad Medicine," "Living on a Prayer.")

To show my range, I'll toss in "Take on Me" and "I Melt with You."

And, yes, I'm not going in Babs' desired thread direction here.
I have nothing else to say at this time.

For 80's songs that are nostalgic for me I'm going with "Tainted Love" by Softcell. The first morning I was home from the mission I had my clock radio set to wake me up to music and this was the song playing. I'm not sure why I remember that but I do remember thinking that it was a pretty good song and that I finally was really home.

Can't mention the 1980s without A Flock of Seagulls. And I continue to like that song. Nostalgia at its best.

That song is far too awesome to be nostalgic.
