Homeland

Is anyone else watching this season? I think it may be the best one yet; it's certainly faster paced. It's interesting to muse about what was going through the writers' minds when they wrote the season script (all done before November). It features a female President-elect who is being undermined by a Breitbart-like station, lots of hacking, nefarious intelligence agency operatives, "fake news", etc.

Yeah I have loved this season and it feels very familiar.

Great end of the season. I like the cliffhanger for next season. Carrie continues to be a horrible judge of character. I am guessing her daughter will be continued to use as a pawn in the upcoming seasons, which is why even with Dar exposed, she didn't get her back.

This wasn't my favorite season. I hated seeing Quin the way he was this season. But I agree that it ended well and sets up next season to be really strong.

Quinn was a very sad element of the season, although Rupert Friend did a great job portraying him. And the season ended well. I wonder if President Keane's behavior in the final minutes of last night's episode reflected who she really was all along, or if the dark ops attempt on her life radicalized her.

P.S. I was kind of pissed, but tipped my cap, at the director/writer for making me so uncomfortable while the home inspector was slowly doing her thing as drunk Max was stashed away in the basement.
