Did anyone catch this after Dexter last night? First episode was pretty good. It was more like watching a movie than a televisioin series. Clare Danes is still pretty hot.

Showtime is beckoning to me once more like it does every Fall with Inside the NFL and Dexter. I decided to hold off this year because Dexter was not great last year and Showtime is utterly worthless besides Dexter and Inside the NFL. But Homeland got some great reviews, I might have to reconsider.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”Comment

Thumbs up so far. I liked it as well. Good acting, interesting plot. It reminds me a bit of the fiction book 'Secret Soldier' about an operative deep in Afghanastan and what happened to him when he came back to America.
I will be watching to see how the show progresses.Comment

I loved it.
I started to develop a nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach as the show progressed. That is a good sign that I will be drawn in.

I watched it twice... well, wasn't really paying attention b/c I was socializing w a group of friends after our sunday night Dexter viewing and Showtime played Homeland, Dexter, & Homeland again before I bounced.
