Going to have to try "Wondershare"! Thanks for the tip!

Hmm... Good motivation for me to remain active I guess.

Does it automatically parse the songs and give it the correct tag info?

you can always use vlc player or audacity to download any audio stream, but you would have to do the work of clipping it to songs and inputting the tag info.

Supposedly it does in the full version, which I'm most likely going to purchase.

Why does this sound not fully legal?

Because its a clear violation of the Spotify T&C. Art is going to have to answer No to the TR question that addresses honesty in all of his dealings.

Ha. You obviously are not an interwebs attorney. Wondershare states quite clearly on their front page, "Note: Streaming Audio Recorder complies with all copyright laws and is 100% legal to use." . They said it, so it must be true.

The Wondershare statement is irrelevant. If you're using Wondershare to copy Spotify songs then you're in violation of the T&C you agreed to when signing up for Spotify.

Spotify respects intellectual property rights and expects you to do the same. This means, for example, that the following is not permitted: (a) Copying, reproducing, “ripping”, recording, or making available to the public any part of the Spotify Services or content delivered to you via the Spotify Services, or otherwise any making use of the Spotify Service which is not expressly permitted under these Terms; (b) using the Spotify service to import or copy any local files you do not have the legal right to import or copy in this way; (c) reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, modification or creating derivative works based on the Spotify Services or any part thereof; (d) circumventing any technology used by Spotify, its licensors, or any third party to protect content accessible through the Service; (e) renting or leasing of any part of the Services; (f) circumventing of any territorial restrictions applied by Spotify; (g) artificially increasing play count or otherwise manipulating the Services by using a script or other automated process; (h) removing or altering any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property notices contained on or provided through the Spotify Service; (i) providing your password to any other person or using any other person’s user name and password.
But go ahead, AV. Just use the excuse that you're a cheap Mormon. Then it doesn't matter that you're being dishonest because you're being frugal. There are many who think it's okay to value money over honesty.

YO has convinced me of Wondershare's predatory advertising practices. I want everyone, especially Spotify's legal team, that I will not be using this product. Regardless of the fact, WS is very easy to use, seems to work perfectly ever time, syncs seamlessly with iTunes, and is very economical. I am the victim here!

Hey, Dr. Lawbreaker, will Wondershare grab the audio from youtube videos?

( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

Not a joke at all. That live recording is even better than the single, which is why I wanted AV to Wondershare it. Here's a link to a free download of the single, BTW. Put in your email and they'll send you the download link.

I missed this post. As I have stated, i no longer use Wondershare. But if I was, yes it records youtube videos. I just made a perfect (hypothetical) recording of that great performance.

The upgrade to Spotify premium, has been worth it. Much better sound quality, and the ability to listen to whatever I want offline, has been fantastic with my phone, on this roadtrip.

How long does it generally take for new albums to get on Spotify? I'm interested in listening to the new Jay-Z album, but not enough, to pay for it.
