I really wouldn't have much of a problem with that.

Well, it causes practical problems for the producers - Alfie Allen is established as Theon, and he does a really good job. As of now, there's only the next season ordered. If they went entirely by the books, Theon wouldn't make another appearance in the show after season 2, until at least season 6, most likely. They'd be running the risk of him being involved in another project and not being available when they need him. He is still an important character to the overall story, it appears. It may also be that GRRM has things in mind for him for future, as-yet-unpublished books, as well.

I didn't say it here so as not to start something, but if you want me to, please, little darlin', stir it up.

Wuap, you obviously haven't studied my posts on GoT, I love at least 75% of it -- all of the Tyrion, Dany, Margie, Tywin, Jamie, Jon Snow and Arya storylines. I just don't care to have a constant repeat scene of Theon getting tortured and Bran learning that he can see through an animal's eyes. It's pointless.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

That's what puzzled me as well. I don't get that vibe from your reviews at all.

I enjoy your reviews in general, btw. Keep posting.

I don't know... I only remember the guy saying he was going to "alter" him. Maybe just a circumcision?

Same. I was pretty "meh" on season two as well. There's a lot I liked in both seasons, but they've both seemed to spin their wheels for the bulk of the episodes before finally making something happen near the end of the season (or at least I'm assuming that's what's going to happen again this year). Season one is still easily the high watermark for me.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

                          • Game of Thrones has matured beyond the too-many sex scenes of the first season to a show that's not afraid of more intricate storytelling. I do not see them as spinning their wheels, if anything, I'd argue that they are doing a great job of keeping all the pretenders to the throne(s) active on the screen, and the things that they've focused on, all wind up being relevant at later points. I couldn't be happier with this show. Even the torture of Theon goes to show the actual cruelty visited upon people in Medieval times.
