  • There's talk that HoC could score at least 3 Emmy noms. Pretty cool that it could happen without an episode ever airing on TV. Netflix has really potentially changed the game.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I think Spacey definitely deserves a nomination. The show is as good as any other drama out there. I could see it getting a nom there too.

      • Spacey, Wright and Best drama have all been given really good odds in a site that handicaps the potential noms.

no, they have completely changed the game. This will be even more evident as Arrested Development comes out.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

They also have that horror series starring Famke Janssen starting on the 19th.

Anyone else remember that Star Trek Next Generation that she was on? Holy crap she was the hottest thing ever.

                • was that the woman in the holodeck named Lyric? I still hear her voiceovers on current TV commercials.

                    • Just watched The Giant Mechanical Man. Charming little love story with an up and coming cast, including Chris Messina. Topher Grace was great as an odious snake oil salesman. Two misfits meet and bring meaning to each others lives. When the misfits are played by two beautiful actors, sometimes it is easy to scoff, but I think the movie does a great job of establishing the quirks of their personalities that make them rather pathetic to start. I recommend this movie if you want a small forget able movie to pass away 90 minutes.

I really liked it. Topher's character was hysterically douchey and I somehow really related to chris messina's character the way he emits such a strong enmity between himself and the world that is socially damning. I've watched it more than once.

Yes, his intensity is so passionate that he scares off people. I've seen that in real life, and it scares me so I avoid these people.

Sorry Commando, other than that, you and I are batting like, .995 on movies that we both like.

It came out right after AD and I just loved it. Smart, off beat comedy that is awesome. If you haven' seen it, you need to catch it.

Despite your praise, I actually think you're doing it a disservice by comparing it to AD. It's a great show full-stop!

Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.
