Like all the other women of CUF, I am obsessed with this series, no matter how late I am to the party. I just bought Series 2 and hope that it comes by the weekend.
My brit friends always kid me on how yanks sound so old fashioned. While they've moved on to shortening words from sec-ree-tare-eee to secr'tree, I noticed that the 1909 maid says it american style sec-ree-tare-eee.Comment

My wife bought both seasons at once and we finished the second one a couple of weeks ago. They are terrific. (Wife and daughter are planning to watch the entire two seasons again. I may join them.) One tip: stay away from this thread until you've watched them all, so as to avoid unintentional spoilers.
