Ooh, almost time to buy.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Perhaps 71 can give some insight here, I was excited and set to watch for the bottom when Netflix got under $200 and was going to wait for it to settle and buy. I'm not sure there is a bottom anymore, I think the end game is it keeps falling until Google, Apple or Microsoft buy them.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostOoh, almost time to buy.Get confident, stupid

My personal opinion is that they have too much content to fail completely. But that's just like, my opinion, man.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostPerhaps 71 can give some insight here, I was excited and set to watch for the bottom when Netflix got under $200 and was going to wait for it to settle and buy. That's why if it gets down to about $50 a share one of the big internet companies would buy it out. There about bout 55 million shares, I could see Google spending $3 billion to own Netflix.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostMy personal opinion is that they have too much content to fail completely. google, amazon, et al., would jump to own a company that posted the numbers nflx has for $3b. enterprise value is $6b.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostThat's why if it gets down to about $50 a share one of the big internet companies would buy it out. i'd be curious to see what their subscription numbers are. everyone i know just dropped the dvd rental component, but they're still paying $9 for streaming. there's obviously outrage about this, but did a lot of people drop netflix altogether?Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

NFLX came roaring back today ... up 22%. Have been heads down with work all day so didn't hear if there was news or what."It's true that everything happens for a reason. Just remember that sometimes that reason is that you did something really, really, stupid."
