What's the running time on that sucker? It's going to make Lord of the Rings seem like an executive summary.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThey announced today that they are making a 24 movie.

It appears that way, but with this show you never know. Next week she could be in a secret meeting with the POTUS saying "good job, they bought it."Originally posted by TheBYUGuy View PostI personally thought it would take a little longer for Crazy Renee to break. But boy, did she break in spectacular fashion!

Fox cancels 24! There will be no Day 9. I wonder how many characters will be killed off in the finale

I have actually quite liked this season, and last night's second episode took me by surprise in the end. I didn't think that they'dSpoiler for SPOILER:actually kill President Hassan so simply, not with Jack and Renee about to take them all out. I hope Jack goes all Viet Cong on Dana Walsh now.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Last night was very good and I, too, was surprised by the final moments. I'd like to see the immunity deal (which like all 24 contracts got drafted during a commercial break so I'm sure there's some excellent lawyering there). Was it contingent upon the safe delivery of hostage? Was is so broad as to eliminate prosecution for DAna having killed Milton Waddams and stuffing him in the air vent?
My youngest and I are having a very enjoyable time watching and commenting upon this season's hijinx. The show is going out strong. It'll be fun to see what absurdities Logan brings to the table.

I think they explicitly stated it was contingent on safe delivery of the hostage. So Dana/Jenny is pretty screwed there. While that subplot seems to be mostly over, I can yet see a three party torture team taking Jenny to the cleaners: Jack, because he's the consummate professional torturer, Renee, because she's unstable anyway and likely finds it to be a turn-on, and Cole because he's pissed as hell.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostLast night was very good and I, too, was surprised by the final moments. Logan is, in my wife's words, her least favorite 24 character ever. I can't tell if it's that she hates the character as a character because he is deplorable or thinks he is a stupid inclusion in the show. Either way, you know something bad is happening if he's coming aboard.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I was very disappointed that Jack did not torture Dana/jenny instead of allowing the the deal to happen. It made Jack look soft (Maybe Chuck Norris could take him now)..
when they mentioned this was Jack's last hours, I actually was thinking they would take Freddie Prince as the new Jack. I could of seen him torturing and kill Dana/Jenny in the next epsiode and letting us know he was up to the task of replacing Jack.
I am disappointed that 24 is going away. I will need to rent the Seasons since I got on board only a few years ago...

The scene near the end of the second episode last night was pretty impressive. You don't usually see something like that on TV. My favorite season was #3 because it had a few strong moral dilemmas that forced you to think and consider the game plan.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostI was very disappointed that Jack did not torture Dana/jenny instead of allowing the the deal to happen. It took 18 hours this season for the Director of CTU to resign/be fired/go crazy. Is that a new record? Usually we're on our third Director by now.
Also I've never seen Jack take a break to make out with Terri/Audrey/Renee during the crisis, before today. Why end the show just as the writers are making new strides?
