I'm enjoying the Division 2 on xbox right now.

I also picked up an Oculus Quest and it's pretty amazing. A game like Beat Saber on the Quest feels like a gigantic step forward in gaming innovation and technology. I know billions have been invested in the VR experience, and the Quest really feels like you're getting their money's worth. I understand Facebook (who owns/developed the Oculus) is selling these at a loss at $400 just to get them in households. It's very user friendly and just a ton of fun.

I pulled the trigger and ordered one from Best Buy and got 10% off because of my bd. I'm considering what games to buy and I found this unusually funny game review.

I'll tell you right off the bat: Beat Saber is the best game. After that, I like Superhot VR, a puzzle/action game, Creed, a super fun exercise game based on the movie of the same name (I burn about 350 calories playing straight through the career mode).

A game I just got is Racket NX, which plays like a 360 degree 'Arkanoid' or like a real life iteration of the Tron disc game from the movie. Look it up- it's a good time.

The PS2 was the most successful console of all time and it looks like the PS4 may end up as an even bigger hit. They gave X-Box a foothold into the market but they're beginning to lose that within a single generation.

I think the ps4 has a cool interface, but I sincerely like the xbox one better.

Microsoft announced Xbox One before Sony announced PS4 and really messed up their launch announcement and messaging (confusing anti-used games DRM, always online, kinect required). Sony cleaned their clock when they announced the PS4 contrasting their policies with Microsoft's hugely unpopular ones and the PS4 being $100 cheaper. Microsoft would later backtrack on those decisions but the damage was done. They started off in a huge hole.

That’s true. However, xbox’s 180 on backwards compatibility worked wonders for them.

I should, but I wrote it off as a blatant rip-off of Fortnite. I may give it a whirl but have my hands full with The Division 2 dlc, Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing, 2K20, plus I need to somehow get back at RDR2...

I paid too much for an Oculus Quest for my kids for Christmas. Most of them lost interest, and Mrs. NWC has logged in more hours than anyone else, by far. But I've spent a significant amount of shelter in place time on it also.

It's pretty fun. Beat Saber is pretty cool. The Imagine Dragons song pack is my favorite. There are 360 degree options that are wild.
Other hits are Moss, A Fisherman's Tale, and Superhit VR. Moss is an incredibly beautiful game. It took 10 hours of play time for me to finish it. There are also quite a few free games that aren't bad. Plenty of VR educational videos that are nausea inducing. I haven't watched a Netflix or Prime movie on it yet, but that might be kind of cool. No porn yet though
